Is full scale remodel and addition. A complete haul was done to transform this post war 1950’s bungalow into a warm costal retreat that sits minutes from the beach. Classic white hardie lap siding pairs with new black aluminum windows. We added vertical 1×4 clear cedar siding to the front that adds warmth and also aids in breaking up the monochromatic facade.
Inside, the kitchen and bedrooms were all reorientated to create a more cohesive floor plan and open concept living that connects both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Now, with an integrated hot tub in the deck, the family can still enjoy movie nights from the large tv that projects outside.
